If there is at least one other person following the movement, then the individuality is gone.
The solution is in realizing that we are all the same in the most profound way: despite the outward appearance, we are all physically the same inside.
The mentality of difference sometimes seems to be confused with rebellion.
Rebelling is good, so long as it is for the proper cause.
When rebellion turns into a movement whereby the cause is lost on mere and purely unreasonable angst, then rebellion merely becomes ignorance.
You just described my teenage years.
Expressing my individuality by dressing like an idiot just like all my friends.
Oh and wearing a sytem of a down t shirt that said "FUCK THE SYSTEM" without a clue of what system I was rebelling against.
The moral of the story is that the T shirt got me some pussy, of a good looking girl who also dressed and had the opinions of a moron.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
