I was not discounting the male birth control option.
In fact, it is something I would support.
However, men tend to remain children most of their lives; which includes areas of responsibility. I highly doubt most men who merely want to engage in sex for the pleasure are going to be responsible enough to take a pill. It is not coded in the typical male DNA to be responsible.
It is sad that in most cases it is the woman's responsibility to not become pregnant, but then again it is her body. Her body, her choice.
