I agree with you somewhat on adversity, though it would be nice to go through weeks or even months without some utter prick trying to make our lives more difficult by being a dick.
Well considering you're not actually eating one, sure, why not? I've never tasted one before but I know what regular snot tastes like so I imagine it's salty. Or does it being dried out make it taste awful like a raisin compared to a grape? But who wouldn't be curious to know what certain things taste like without the dread of ingesting some kind of bacteria or other nauseating substance? I'm the kind of person who'll try just about anything at least once.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
