Are you arguing for a feeling (I feel like taking a shit in my neighbors lawn, but the universe was not created by a giant turd)? Arguing that the bible is true because it is old (I've got some links to cave paintings showing man in flight, with bird wings..must have happened, it's really old)? Or are you just griping against excess and wasteful consumerism (as though christianity were some sort of counter-point to this)? You must understand, you responded to three separate points. Feeling point, yes but to us humans i think it serves some importance. Now that comparison is absurd, it a writing and the writers wanted you to believe. And if you are to understand Jesus if you so choose he said obey the commandments, give away all your possessions, and spread the Word. Now we are still humans and desire materialism, for some reason(could you help me understand this point), but Jesus teachings are very different then how we live. He said the body is weak but the spirit is willing, not preaching i think that Jesus said this justifies the above point. Now reason against what is written long ago with what us fallible humans represent.
If you buried a valid point about god or the nature of belief in that jumble it's lost on me.
