1. the anti war movement died because Bush shut it down
2. Comparing the size and backing of the tea party to the anti war movement is absurd. Comparing the tea parties 6 year campaign to anti trump is even sillier.
3.Poltical hatred is sometimes justified .The idea all political parties and regimes are equal is stupid. And gives cover for dangerous groups .
4. No we don't hate the Trump Regime for the same reason people hated Obama

The reason they accepted those two was they repeated the right Republican mantra's. If either of them deviated they be out faster then you can say shield . But I point out a great many ex Obama supporters of Trump voted for him because he was the "right "kind of black .
