Really? Because they think they're in possession of that special little secret denied to us, that it merits them deserving of forgiveness for all their bullshit, with that fucking facade of guilt? Can't believe you could have missed that. The slightest declaration of faith is a direct middle finger to everyone who doesn't share that with them. I give it right back and then some. If they can't figure out that they're being fucking smug, they can eat whatever falls out of my ass. On second thought, even if they can figure it out, they can still eat that. If they're not going to stop it, they get no quarter.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
