Your oldest memory

I'm nothing special in terms of recalling early memories.  However, on one occasion, perhaps when I was around 6,  I remember being in my basement and coming across a book on prehistoric people (Australopithecines, Homo habilis, Homo erectus, Neanderthals etc.) that had cool illustrations in it along with figures that opened up out of the pages.  I must say that I was quite curious and fascinated with this book.
