A Moment in Memory of My Father
February 16, 2017 at 10:05 am
Three years ago today, my father passed from this world.
Stanley LeRoi Poindexter

Here is one of the songs that I remember he loved

The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

Losing a parent is always difficult. Remember him well. That's his afterlife!

A person's taste in music can tell you a lot about a person. Your father liked some great music. I hope you have all the best memories of him today, Rhonda.

The man had great taste.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

I don’t really feel like I’ve lost him. I still remember the things he taught me. It was from him that I learned to see the irony of life. When I fall I may laugh as much as cry. He taught me to stand back from my emotions and analyze their depth. He taught me to question not only the answers, but also question the questions. And most of all he taught me to survive in a world where he no longer exists.
I am very fortunate to have known him for 48 years. I remember him because I am him. A Poindexter.
