What was your standard for determining if the NRA video was acceptable?
I admit I was just judging both sociopolitical spectrums and just using my own personal feelings but what if such a video did spark violence and reactions en masse. How would you determine the video as threatening then?

I didn't say it was 'acceptable', I said it didn't seem to be promoting violence.
I don't care if it sparks reactions (for example, I'm reacting to it right now, and I haven't shot anyone). If it sparks violence, I will dejectedly admit I was wrong. But I still wouldn't consider the vid as 'threatening'. As for 'en masse', I doubt very much that the majority of gun owners are going to see this and start looking for NYT reporters to shoot.
