I don't care if it sparks reactions (for example, I'm reacting to it right now, and I haven't shot anyone). If it sparks violence, I will dejectedly admit I was wrong. But I still wouldn't consider the vid as 'threatening'. As for 'en masse', I doubt very much that the majority of gun owners are going to see this and start looking for NYT reporters to shoot.

Oh bullshit, if I had a nickle for every gun owner I've heard say , "Out of my cold dead hands" I'd make Trump look like a vagabond. Of course not all, so what? There is a fringe that blood lobby panders to and they are the same types of assholes who hold a nature reserve hostage.
And someone did act on their beliefs, guy went into a pizza joint WITH A FIREARM and shot it up because the right wing media whom the NRA loves, sold a bullshit story about Hillary running a child molesting ring.
The NRA is the one lobby that protects our flooded market and have been responsible for DECADES for obstructing those who want to reduce firearm deaths.
Even when the NRA's butt buddy party GOP gets shot up by a democrat, even then, those assholes don't want anything done. It is nothing but about an industry and profits. It has nothing to do with firearm safety.
Don't make the mistake of thinking that I'm in any wise supporting the NRA - you should know better. My point, which you seem to have missed, is that the ignorant screed in the link isn't something that is likely to incite the majority of gun owners to start hunting journalists. And anyone who IS incited by the video is a whackaloon who was going to kill someone anyway.
What part of that qualifies as 'bullshit'?
