Looking back at my post, I did mention that the earliest grasses we have dated to 65 million years ago. While grasses developed then, the ones we have now have a lot to do with whether or not the grass could exploit some niche created by man. Grasses that were good as animal feed were spread, grasses that were good as human feed spread, grasses that take advantage of fire benefited greatly from the controlled burns of ag, livestock, and building projects. I'm not sure what disagreement you have about my post?
