So apparently we have people vandalizing lincoln statues now...

Lincoln has never been regarded with good will in the south or amongst the Nazis.

One of the more vile arguments to moral equivocation is that some argue Lincoln only freed the slaves to undermine the workforce of the South knowing the industrialization of the North was out pacing the South.

That is a common argument you get from the far right bigots.
