They need a leader who excites them. Hillary was more or less "anointed" in 2016. Her only competition came from an old socialist who is not even a democrat and that was closer than it should have been. For reference, Gore was more or less "anointed" too. And he lost to the second biggest fucking moron to ever sit in the White House. See a pattern?
Let's see what emerges from the primaries.
