Yup not every priest was a douche bag but there were plenty who were . What's you point? Plenty of Germans who worked for hitler were not total monsters it does not excuse the group or it's leadership.  As for Catholic being oppressed in Nazi Germany . Only priests and publications who were critical of Hitler . But it's hardly non catholic to jail or kill priests who did not agree with a leader . Catholic rulers did it for centuries hell even popes themselves. And the vast majority of Catholics in Germany supported Hitler and suffered no ill treatment at all. As for Italy it was because the culture of Italy never had a massive anti Jewish sediments of else were contrast this with all the other catholic nations of Europe who had the worst track record of protecting Jews.
