I have surprised people by telling them that I am on the Autistic Spectrum (I have hyperlexia and I was diagnosed professionally at the age of six or seven). By this point, I can almost pass for Neurotypical until somebody notices that I don't make eye contact.

For what it's worth, I have told several people that I have a fascination with things like Serial Killers, Cannibalism and Necrophilia, among other things, but very few people expressed surprise at this.

Also, due to my "Tevye goes grunge" look, People seem to think I'm a lot older than I really am. I'm 21.
