You might think differently if, like me, you've spent several hours in Men's Groups hosted by an evangelical church. In my case they were hosted by Wheaton Bible Church in, unsurprisingly, Wheaton, Illinois. Or read some of the more popular books like "Love and Respect: The Love She Most Desires, the Respect He Desperately Needs".Overall, I think may evangenlicals find these teachings helpful and insightful. YMMV. Maybe it's not for you. No one's telling you what to do in your private life, but if you ask an evangelical for advice don't be surprised if he references the Bible.
