That's over half of the Republican base. We need to make sure that even more people of the Democratic persuasion vote next time. I'm going to hie myself down to the nearest Democratic headquarters and find out what I can do to have that happen. Of course, the Dems are going to have to find a decent candidate and not hose that process up. Hillary is still a non-starter, IMO. Note that I am in California, where whomever is nominated will get the Dem vote, but I still think that something could be done that affects other states.
That's a tall order for an outfit that doesn't seem to recognize running good candidates in taut, efficient campaigns is a good strategy for winning.
