I'm thinking Bud Lite and it's ilk. It's less about the alcohol as it is about flavor - and with American "lite" beer, what flavor there is, is *bad*.
I realize that tens mof millions of people think it's just fine, but I suspect that has something to do with the plethora of bad beer that's been ubiquitous since the end of prohibition.
It's all bilge, but you at least can get a buzz off the non-lite swill. You sure as fuck wouldn't drink it for the taste.
