In all fairness to God, yes he did bring lots of needed water. But he also brought the warmth of fire to dry up any excess water.

You see, because he lives beyond our universe, his magic "poofs" don't arrive at exactly the right time or place. We have severe "exactness" issues in our universe caused by the uncertainty of the quantum world. God has no control of his blessings once it leaves his wand. Sometimes worm holes get in the way, other times his blessings are voided by a black hole.

But he is doing his faultless best at all times. It is our universe and everything in it which is corrupted and needs saving.
No God, No fear.
