Genesis was written down over 500 years before the Fall of Pompeii. Sodom would have been on the Dead Sea plain if it ever existed in the first place. Details of their sexual practices are unknown, though they clearly had a 'rape gang problem', but the 'Sin of Sodom' was treating strangers badly in a region where hospitality could be a matter of life and death.
That said, there's no particularly good reason to have your life revolve entirely around your penis. You should have other hobbies, too.
