There you have it folks. Some of them are going to toss the US down the tank, crash the economy and then use it for their own petty Tea Party political machinations.
Also, have you guys noticed how Boehner is disagreeing with this course of action not on the damage it will do but the fact that the political calculus might not work out.

The US economy is already down the tank, falling further and further while scrambling under an even higher debt burden all the while with nothing but "hope" that they can build a propeller in time to lift them out before they hit recession or depression levels - The situation is now worse than it would have been given no stimulus or bailouts post 2008 and had Bush not tried to look like a champion and get attention by stimulating his way out of the bubble in the early 2000s causing the housing boom your economy would be doing just fine right now.
