Nah, the coolest thing in California is that stretch of Bouquet Canyon road just east of the bad boy camp. Many a drag race was held there, complete with two Fireball boys getting tickets, many years apart. Fun fact- 48, yes, 48 of us, got tickets for either "engaging in a speed contest", or "being a spectator to a contest". Nobody got it for aiding and abetting, because the popo couldn't prove who set up the barricades. We lined up 3 wide in the road and got our tickets like good little boys going through a turnstile.
I had just parked my Camaro after racing my friend in his Corvette (I lost- #sad). One of my younger brothers got the same citation 6 years later in that same spot. He's 6 years younger than I am. The popo had us cold- they came from both directions on the road, so we had no place to run to. One of the guys who didn't show up told the popo (when asked, where is everybody!), "Oh, they're up by Camp Scudder drag racing". 
Nothing like uncorked headers echoing off the canyon walls, and tire smoke still in the air when John Law showed up.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
