Yep, but that is what corporate America has learned to do, not just the NFL, blackmail the nation or threaten to take their toys and move.
I am old enough to remember that too, very dick move.
Jets/Giants were still paying off the tax payers for the old stadium when the new one was built. Pats and Packers are the only two teams I know of that have not blackmailed tax payers for new digs.
But again, even outside this game, that is what big biz does to America, if they cant get everything they want, they move overseas.
You'd think 32 billionaires, whom make most of their money of off merchandising could collectively pool their own money to build new stadiums.
