I suppose when Neo's opponents read the boy who cried wolf, they think the moral of the story is that the evil villagers used the boys lies to justify not coming to his aid when they knew there was a real attack.

No, the moral of the 'Boy, Who Cried 'Wolf'' story is, that if you put the safety of your sheep in the hands of an unarmed child-worker, whose cries for help (as well as whatever noises murdered sheep make) you've decided to ignore - then you're a moron and a bad parent; you're going to lose your livestock and hopefully you'll be charged with murder, or at least manslaughter, or criminal endangerment of a minor, or somethin'. All your remaining kids will probably go into foster care. 

So, yeah - watch your own damn sheep and send that kid to school. And call the Forest Department about the wolves. Or - you know - just get some gunz and smoke the som'bitches, because 'Murrica!

I thought the moral of the story was that there real wolves out there.
