When I was a kid, this league was far more predictable. Maybe that is the intent from a business model. If the same teams keep winning year after year it can be boring. I will say, the injuries, those are NOT intentional for the most part. No player wants to miss a game or have their career ended.
All I am saying is decades ago, you didn't need point spread to know. It is a crap shoot now.
