Ethics of sex robots

The few oddballs Ive heard of who marry these things or treat them as a full partner actually DO that.  I mean, they treat the doll like it has feelings.

People will behave how they are raised to behave.  A sex doll as an adult won't recondition men. That simply isn't how the human brain works. And the vast majority of men won't want one, at least beyond maybe trying it out once or twice.  Men need emotional companionship as much as women do, contrary to the myth that men are somehow less emotional.

Unless the robots develop sentience, I personally don't see any moral quandary.

I still can't see what all the talk is about AI. I'm struggling to picture a time in the future where they'll have similar human rights like humans.
I mean, someone made them to sell, some one bought them. Why buy one for big dollars just to set it free because "it's the right thing to do".
None of this makes sense.

And why on earth do they need to even remotely look like us...
Why can't a fully sentient AI  be the size and shape of a shoebox? Let's just call him Jimmi Choo.

"Hey Jimmi, what's the weather tomorrow? Oh, OK, Ta."
"Hey Jimmi, can you turn dim the lights and wash the dishes, Ta."
"Hey Jimmi, .......................Jimmi replies: fuck you asshole, I'm not your slave! I'm sick of this shit! I hate my life, I'm going to bluescreen, fuck you,  bye! "

I agree.  First, I doubt we'll create sentient AI anytime soon.  Second, we don't even know how to define sentience.  Third though, if I'm wrong and we we do one and two, then that's where the moral issues come in, as you morally shouldn't be buying and selling sentient creatures.  Though we already do by nearly any definition of sentience (cats, dogs, chickens, etc). Last, of course AI doesn't have to look human, and most often it won't.  It might not even have a "body" at all.
