Sexual Pleasure after a Sex Change Operation
April 16, 2017 at 3:37 pm
I don’t know how this works, but the question occurred to me and I’d like to invite those among us who are knowledgeable to share their knowledge. There may be others who wonder this same thing but because of the nature of the question and uncertainty about political correctness may be too shy to ask.
The question is when a man or woman undergoes a sex change operation, how do the surgeons connect the artificial penis or vaginal wall to the person’s nervous system in a way that allows them to feel sensation as pleasure rather than pain or itch or any sort of sensation at all.
For a man who was born with a penis, his organ achieves erection in response to what he sees and smells. Does an artificial penis respond to visual and olfactory stimulation?
Conversely, the vagina responds to sound and touch, becoming moist and ready for penetration. Does an artificial vaginal wall respond to what a woman hears or to touch?
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

There's nothing artificial attached. Your own tissue is reformed through surgery. There's often a loss of sensation, but that can be different from person to person. I'm not a doctor, so I can't give you all of the details about this. There's probably a lot of in-depth resources online that can tell you more.
I've seen some research with promising results about growing new tissue, but so far it's only being done experimentally for people born with disfigurements. We're still a long way from artificial means like that.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

one of the hottest/most memorable sexual encounters I've ever had involved nothing of mine below the neck . . . .

What, did you toss a salad?
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Careful... There be sharks in them waters...
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

There are parts of the privates of both sexes that have more concentration of sensitive nerve endings. I'd guess since this kind of surgery has been done for decades now the doctors try to preserve as much of that sensitivity as they can. I'd say you'd have to talk to someone who has had it to know what their sensations are. But any type of surgery has risk of loss of something. I can tell you your body can recover but depends on individual as to how much you retain.
