If it was good enough for fucking jesus.......
However, in the really exciting news of the day pope fuckface just came out with this gem.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/11/...ght-marry/
Quote:Pope requests Roman Catholic priests be given right to marry
Quote:Pope Francis has placed a request for Roman Catholic priests to be allowed to marry in Brazil on the agenda of a forthcoming synod on the Amazon region, in a controversial move that is likely to outrage conservatives in the Church, Vatican sources say.
And why? Some great doctrinal revelation? No.
Quote:Cardinal Hummes reportedly asked Francis to consider ordaining so-called viri probati, married men of great faith, capable of ministering spiritually to the many remote communities in the Amazon where there is a shortage of priests, and evangelical Christians and pagan sects are displacing Catholicism.
Nope. It's about market share!
Well to be fair, as a former Catholic myself, this really isn't that different than say Saudi Arabia saying, "Hey we now let women drive."
It is about marketing, and as with every religion, when you call them out, instead of admitting they got it wrong, they change their interpretations to stay relevant.
When believers of any religion try to claim to be modern, you cant by any means separate their new interpretations from antiquity when those interpretations were far different.
I honestly do love liberal theists, I really do. But the fact remains their respective labels and sects still have more conservative parts still dug into the past.
Yes Minn, it is marketing.
