Emotions are intrinsically good and bad

It would be no different than if a Christian had a profound and powerful experience regarding Jesus and claimed that we all need the light of Jesus in our lives. 

.......yeah...........

The person who had that personal experience wouldn't be exalting himself when he claims that he has been enlightened to the truth through his experience. 

That's one of the funnier things about faith, it appeals to our servility and our ego in equal proportion, and causes us to confuse one for the other.  

Rather, he has come to the realization that the light of Jesus is the thing to be exalted. 

Delusions of granduer.

You might consider me to be a deluded person who has had a profound religious experience of his own. 

I don't think you had any such experience.  

But, again, I don't know for sure if I really am that deluded religious person speaking lies or someone speaking the truth.  I just have to go by what gives my life value.  However, I keep an open mind towards the possibility that I could be right which is yet another reason why I have written my entire book in the hopes that, one day, if I really am right, that humanity would become enlightened to this truth.

You, you..you you you.  Apparently, you didn't actually write your book.  You let people like me do that for you.

I personally think that the ego comes at a great advantage.  Since I stated in the beginning that it is our inner universe where the real good value is at, then the ego focuses in on that inner universe.  I think this process could have allowed me to see the truth that it is my inner universe being a happy and joyful one that allows me to perceive everything in the outside world as being beautiful, good, etc.
