Morality is like a tool given for us to remind us what is the right path and what is the wrong path, so even if someone takes the wrong path they can be reminded to go back to the right way. I think it's a good thing and if we keep following the right way we will eventually end up at a better place.
This is the problem in the world in my view. They make morality as a tool to suit their needs and don't recognize what it truly is. While it is a spirit from God we are all connected to. During Jesus time it was Jesus, when Jesus ascended, it was Elyas (Elijah) who was born before Jesus, and when Mohammad was sent it and ascended to the highest and holiest place of prostration in the sky, he became the leader. We are to be at service of this light, because it is the chosen leader and guide.
I find the bible is more explicit that it is a spirit from God than even the Quran which does state it but in more subtle way. For example, Jesus explicitly said he was the light of the world, and said some else holding this position would be sent after he leaves, and that even during their waiting period of that sent Messenger promised, they would be guided through someone who was the holy spirit and light of God to the world as was Jesus that during his time.
In fact, Jesus explicitly states he is the way. When we don't recognize this leader from God and make use of his light extending to us and his commands and advice for our sake, when we make it a tool for ourselves, as opposed to ourselves a tool for the light and prefer the leader from God over ourselves, everything goes wrong, because our priority is unbalanced.
We will use of the light and mix with it darkness.
I want to know how you interpret the following words of Jesus:
"I am the light of the world" "I am the door and the way..."
"I have been sent with the sword of God..."
With what the holy spirit is.....
It seems to me that the holy spirit was Jesus, but that as the holy spirit on earth had predecessors.
Who was the light of God and holy spirit of God on earth before Jesus? Who was the holy spirit after him? And who is the promised one to be sent that is predicted to also an instance of the holy spirit?
I don't know if seeing myself as a instrument for God is a correct thinking but I wouldn't mind it at all either. I think the purpose of many things that's happened in the past like the crucifixion was to remind us of just one single thing and that is love. Love ourself, love our neighbors, love our brothers, love our sisters, forgive, don't harm others etc I think those are the values we should follow but if God wanted to we would've only gotten one single option "just do this", no free will. I think the free will we got is a gift and it shows just how much we are loved that our creator would risk tainting his own creation just so we can have freedom, or it could be like a test because freedom will bring our true selves to light, like if a person is really poor he will be very nice and stuff to others but if he won a lottery(like getting free will) then he has a choice to either keep being nice or suddenly deviate towards a negative side.
I think this :
Quote: "I am the light of the world" "I am the door and the way..."Means that Jesus was trying to say he is the son of God and he is speaking on behalf of his father. "I am the light of the world" must mean like I will put an end to darkness. "I am the door and the way" must mean that if we follow his path we will achieve light and also remove darkness that clogs every human tbh
Quote:"I have been sent with the sword of God..."the usage of sword really stood out, using that must mean "to cut down" I think probably evil. Just guessing.

I prefer to not sorry because nobody close to me even knows something like this happened(I don't talk about these things with others) this forum is the first place I'm even sharing there is something that happened and I especially prefer not to share specifically in a atheist forum because that experience is close to my heart and more personal so if I put it out there some people can sort of dissect it something I don't prefer sorry
