Personally I'd not make an announcement. It makes it look like something to be ashamed of or that is particularly important. But don't hide it. The relationship may not go anywhere anyway and you just want to enjoy each other for the moment. Eventually the subject will come up on its own accord, like what you did last Sunday etc.
