Oh, and another thing for Godnose: If the statement "Atheism is just as much a religion as not collecting stamps is a hobby" is considered, then a "church" for atheists would be just as much like a gathering for non-collecting stamp fans. Stamp collectors like to meet and compare their collections just as much as religious people like to gather and share their faith and could talk about these topics for hours. But atheism is just denouncing all gods, but people might not have anything else in common. Just how much can one talk about not believing in gods?
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human.
