Spammer threatening death to atheists and scientists arrested in Montreal.

Christian love at work:
A spammer who has been threatening atheists, pagans, scientists, and others with death or mutilation on Usenet, E-mail, and Twitter since 1995 has been arrested by the Montreal Quebec police today.
Tens of thousands of people around the world have received his threats of death or mutilation for their belief (or lack thereof).
His mother is quoted in the press today as saying the atheists who received his threats did not understand his message, though such messages as "You F------ C--- I'm going to come over and cut your head off" are rather clear.
He has been a thorn in the side of many Websites and blogs that post articles on atheism, paganism, or scepticism, and scientific blogs and magazines.
He actually turned up in person at a conference of atheists, from which he was blocked with a restraining order, putting true fear in the attendees.
This was posted to my wife BethK's Yahoo! group "Free Thinker's Refuge" this afternoon. It links to a blog of a person in Atlanta that was harassed by him for years, and the superhuman effort it took him and many others to convince the RCMP and the Montreal Police to take him seriously. It finally ended when an online petition was started, sending over three thousand E-mails to the Montreal Police, and the blogger linked the Montreal Police's E-mail address to his own and they started receiving his death threats directly.
It shows many screenshots of the E-mails and tweets received by dozens of people over the years from this fellow. Never forget: The Inquisition was not a perversion of Christianity, it was an expression of Christianity. - James.
I hope none of you were affected adversely by David Mabus. He's in custody, hopefully to get some needed psychiatric treatment.
