1. Do you have all of your natural teeth?
Sort of. I have an assortment of crowns and possibly more fillings than tooth material by weight but no implants or gum issues so far. Oh, and the wisdom teeth were taken two at a time probably for the same reason I have no tonsils.
2. How often do you brush?
Every evening before bed and after my last food for two solid minutes. Occasionally I'll put in a bonus brushing. I'd like to think once a day will get it done.
3. Do you use a special type of toothpaste?
Same - fluoridated / sensitive.
4. Do you use an electric toothbrush?
Yes, and it's got a timer built in so I brush long enough.
5. Do you floss? How often?
Yes. Before before the nightly brushing.
6. What flavour (if any) floss do you use?
None. I use plain old plain-old but I use Gum Chucks, do you know them?
7. How often do you visit your dentist?
Twice a year or more when some filling gives up the ghost and bails.
8. Do you have any dental 'fixes' (fillings, dentures, implants, bridgework, etc)?
Ton of fillings, no dentures, no implants, no bridgework, but also several crowns. My teeth were horrible as a kid and I never really even brushed until I was a teen. There were seven kids in my family and I guess my folks had a lot on their plate.
9. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your overall dental health?
Kind of good given what I have to work with. 8?
10. Have you ever noticed a correlation between you dental health and your height, weight, boob/bum/waist size?
I believe there is a huge correlation between oral hygiene and longevity. Exercise, eat healthy and keep you gums healthy is the way to go. Oh and have a good dog that will take you for walks and a wife who'll cuddle you.
