Why is being alone so "boring" to you? I am 51, I live by myself, I get lots of entertainment on my TV and on my computer. If someone sold you the idea that you had to climb mountains or jet ski or have to get rich or know famous people, that is just bullshit.
If you don't like spending that much time on the internet, then that is you, and that is also OK, try doing other things. But, even if you go outside of your own house and spend time with others, in person, you can also feel just as lonely. "Bored" isn't about where you physically are, or how many people you are with, it is a state of mind.
If you need a change, and that is what you are suggesting, GREAT, then try something new. But being with more people or less people isn't the issue, but what you want for yourself.
Ask yourself what you want, then seek it. But it isn't about more people or less people in person. It is about you.
