That fits your god as much as any fallen angel. Many people are willing to submit to those who they believe have their best interests at heart. Your god doesn't have other people interests at heart at all. Least of all thinking of other people as equal to, or before, himself. See it's a sign of a good relationship when person A puts person B above himself, and person B puts person A above himself. Someone who rules from on high, dictating laws, and harming people who break these laws, without doing much to improve society, is not useful to society.
