RE: Individualism Is Stupid ( Or Why Libertarianism And Objectivism Is Stupid)

Personally I'm a proponent of libertarianism on many issues. I disagree with it when it doesn't account for market failures (such as externalities or predatory competition - there are more but I could literally talk all day about market failures). Other than that, I prefer a society where people are left to their own devices, both in terms of social freedoms and economically.
My views are probably moving more away from libertarianism more as I study society and economic systems more because I've realized it's a highly complex issue, but ultimately I think it's a paradigm with a lot of potential in terms of efficiency.
Why is capital necessarily a 'collective product'? Is this referring to how capital is produced or used?

Capital is a collective product, and only by the united action of many members, nay, in the last resort, only by the united action of all members of society, can it be set in motion.
Capital is therefore not only personal; it is a social power.
