Now I am NOT addressing the "unsportsmanlike" penalty just put on Jacksonville after they just scored. THAT is not what this post is about.
I have seen many times a player slow down, hold the ball out before they get to the end zone. SCREW the penalty, you should STILL not celebrate until you cross the end zone line.
Contracts are why players don't get benched. But if I were a coach I would not give a shit if you did score. If you took that type of needless risk I would bench your ass.
