-but we won't even do that...that's how far we have to go in stripping religion of the vestments of unearned deference. At present, we're looking to appease the children, to make excuses for them, and to turn our heads when they engage in harmful douchebaggery on every level from the personal to the institutiuonal.
That a single catholic still exists, as in a card carrying member of mother church..not these wishy washy "believers" who don't believe what Cathol demands...is a condemnation of where religious appeasement and deference leads. Depravity, oppression, indifference, absurdity, and complicity..all in one cute little package.
