RE: Which is grammatically more right - "red new car" or "new red car"

For some reason new red car doesn't sound right but makes more logical sense.
A car and it's colour is one object and should be treated as such ...ie a red car
The newness of the car is not describing the car ... it is subjective ... ie ...second hand but new to me
red and car should be as close together as possible ...
(PS, I just got a reply back from Oxford dictionary ... they asked me if I'm Indian?
