What's the primary lesson to be learned from wars? You should never, ever, start one unless you have the weapon systems and group will to win. That's why the Palestinians are currently stupid for trying to fight Israel. They simply don't have the weapon systems to win. Iran could defeat Israel if it had 12 nukes and the will to use them. It might take some hits in return but it will be able to completely destroy Israel (and almost everyone else in the area).
During WWII Nazi Germany, Japan, and Italy lacked the necessary weapon systems and logistical systems needed to win. They lost the war as soon as they fired the first shot. They were still thinking that they were fighting a 19th Century war instead of a 20th Century war.
The USSR wouldn't have been able to defeat the US in a conventional war because it lacked the systems and capability to do so. We had too many access points to attack them and they didn't have any to attack us.
If it became necessary we would kill every muslim on the planet without a second thought. And never think that we won't do it. And guess what? Allah will be no where to be seen (and neither will "Jesus").
