On that note, did George Soros ever apologize for being a nazi collaborator?

He never was one. He was 14 when the war ended, and it appears the sole extent of the "collaboration" involved posing as a collaborating Hungarian official's godson (said official had a Jewish wife in hiding), and one time, spending three days with said "godfather" at a mansion he was inventorying, more or less because he felt he shouldn't leave his "godson" alone for three days. His actions during the visit are best described as "tagging along."

He didn't just tag along. He admitted in the 60 minutes interview that he helped to confiscate the property of other Jews and then tried to downplay his role by saying he was just tagging along.

Kroft: My understanding is that you went out with this protector of yours who swore that you were his godson.
Soros: Yes, yes.
Kroft: ...went out in fact and helped in the confiscation of property of the Jews.
Soros: That's right.

He was a nazi collaborator who felt no guilt in his role. He also said in an interview that while his mother was a Jew herself, she was an antisemite. Being raised in that environment, to be antisemite, probably better explains why he felt no guilt in being a nazi collaborator.
Soros is an evil individual and the world would be better off without monsters like him living in it
