"Intelligience."  Brilliant, Tobie.  No, really.  Writing simple  English is so much easier than logic and reason, so if you fail at the most basic level of writing to communicate, what hope is there for you to think about serious matters.

As i said you can be good at one thing and bad at others . Their is no vertical hierarchy of subjects .  English is easier if your an english speaker i'm not . That says nothing about one's reasoning skills . So again ad hominem . If i say too plus too equalize four. my spelling of two has not altered the mathematical fact that two plus two equals four . your attacking an irrelevant point .

"MY" second point was not mine, but your fellow atheist's.  HE said that opinions voiced decades ago are out of date and therefore invalid because they were, in his tortured thinking, too old.  I brought up Newton because his calculus is still brilliant and useful.

And i  brought up the fact that information can be out of date (and yours was ) .And that your examples are ironically just that out of date as was already pointed out . As is the opinions of the people you quoted on the subject of the bible and christianity . And the only tortured reasoning here is yours for trotting out quotes as if those opinions stand on their own instead of bringing an actual case for christianity .

I made no mention of Newton's "opinions on religion," much less the mating "habbits" of the common shrew.

And you missed the point . Just because a person is rationale on subject X does not mean they are correct about Y . And your quotes are arguments from authority. This smart person saisd x therefore that alone makes x true that's fallacious.

Oh and he never took my challenge to translate the inuit sentence i put up . So guess he isn't intelligent for not knowing the basics to language he never uses . I also challenge him too write basic Korean if he can't he's not intelligent or Arabic or French or Spanish or German. After all if you can communicate we can't trust you to recognize the law of noncontradiction or the principle modus ponens.
