Except that the sharia that I'm talking actually exists, in reality, for millions of people.

Say what you want. She's cool, and that's that.

I mean, it could be true, I don't know anything about her. Being cool doesn't make someone infallible. Its odd when people agree with someone's politics they feel the sudden need to defend everything they say. Sharia is a religious law anyway you cut it, atheists shouldn't be defending any definition of it, even one that has white washed how it's actually used in the middle East.

I wonder how much she'd enjoy living in a country that uses Sharia in its legal code? I'd guess not at all.
