It was sarcasm, Rev. Not sure if that came across or not. I think it did, but y'know... can't be sure on the internet...
Anyway, it's worth pointing out that if her students were able to correctly discern the candidate for whom she voted, her ideological views were definitely seeping into her lessons.
Also, taking into account her views on the intelligence of non-whites, I wonder if she gave all of her students equal treatment/help, or just wrote some of them off as unable to be educated properly.
