Why should I? I'm not playing by *your* rules -- I'm playing by mine.
As I see it, the claim for the Christian deity is on exactly the same playing field as every other god every conceived by humanity. In the absence of testable physical evidence, all that remains are believers' testimonies and scriptures. For me, that's not good enough and it will never be good enough.

I can believe in things without worshipping them, you know. There are a number of people whose existence I do not question, but I wouldn't trust 'em any further than I can throw 'em. Your alleged god falls squarely in that category -- Uninspiring, erratic and not in the least bit respect-worthy.
Oðinn, on the other hand, I do respect as an archetype and a role model with no particular concern as to whether such a being does exist. That's why I took the surname Odinsdóttir when I assumed this persona on the Internet.
ETA: Oh, you have the etymology of the name wrong, too. Oðinn doesn't mean "one"; it means "rage."
