What is more sinister about the Christian narrative is that they try to place the blame of this torture murder on us. Us, living today! We are responsible! Just because we like certain sexual practices or because we failed in our youth to set aside self gratification for a higher goal.

What a heinous concept. A mother taking out her revenge on her son because his father was abusive would still be considered child abuse by today's standards. I do not see the difference.
