My analogy about the apple was not about bigotry. I already said that the only reason I made my apple analogy was to point out why letting the images of dogshit spoil the enjoyment of eating apple doesn't mean you don't enjoy eating apples. I said that at best you're making a false analogy because it has nothing to do with bigotry (as my argument, indeed didn't, and wasn't trying to, which is why your analogy would be false because it didn't address mine which isn't about that).... and at worst you're just literally repeating my point. Dogshit spoiling my enjoyment of apples doesn't mean I don't enjoy apples. Puke spoiling your enjoyment of beef stew doesn't mean you don't like beef stew. Believing it does mean that is just making a non-sequtiur about what it actually means. Unless if you no longer had those images of puke spoiling beef stew for you you really didn't like beef stew anymore just because you didn't like it anymore. But you've already said that without that experience you'd still like beef stew. Which means it has absolutely nothing to do with your dislike of beef stew, it has to do with your experience that has absolutely nothing to do with the enjoyment or non-enjoyment of beef stew or not. If X gets in the way of enjoying Y it doesn't mean you don't enjoy Y and believing it does mean that just means you're wrong about that.
