LBJ's personal racism didn't seem to affect his civil rights agenda. JFK's multiple affairs didn't hinder America's space program. How people vote and who they support is not a simple calculus. The best of men are men at best.
That's fine for us atheists....but for these supposed moral paragons it is hypocrisy of the worst kind. But hypocrisy has never been a big problem for them.
