Right, because there are absolutely, positively, no independent voters.

The problem with "independent" voters, for all their smug attitudes about how they don't get involved in dirty politics, is that they exempt themselves from the process of picking the nominees and then are stuck with whatever wins the party primaries.

Really? That's odd, I voted in the most recent primaries as an independent. (Yes, I had to check a box that essentially stated "For the purposes of this vote, I am a democrat").`
